Artezania Kitchen &cantina - Scottsdale

We had a great family holiday 26. December to 5 January at the resort where the restaurant is located! The highlight was the cowboy show they have at the restaurant in the evening. Cowboy Marshall. My son loved it so much on first Thursday that we went back next Thursday. Very family-friendly event. Would be even better with some Western foods, but Mexican food, beer and waiter Aaron were also good!

After a long day, it would be great to have a few choices of entrees. Currently, they are offering sandwiches, burgers, salads, and pizza. Very disappointed at the price point of a midrange restaurant.

You walk in order and sit down. I'm cool with that. DONT TIP because there is NO WAITER. Didn't get refills until we asked for them right before we left. The person (not a waiter) seemed mad that we asked. We literally give up on our grilled cheese. It came out after everyone was done eating. You could use COVID as an excuse, but honestly, just put a soda fountain out where people can get something to drink if you don't have waiters.

The food was decent, but there was miscommunication with an order and a soda that tasted like carbonated water. My mom was very frustrated, but the staff was able to try and correct the order and soda, but unfortunately, she found a plastic item in her food that might have come from a packaged food product. Some staff were very friendly, such as the women that ran the bar and served our food; the man seemed to be equally frustrated about the order and came off a tad annoyed. She was very disappointed in the service and food quality. The rest of the family didn't have any complaints about the taste or quality of food. The experience was just okay.

At the Holiday Inn Club Vacations the café onsite is the ArteZania Kitchen and Cantina and we all decided to check them out Saturday night for dinner. When you walk in you see that you walk up to the counter and place your order and then they will bring out the food. We were a party of 13 and I can honestly say service was great! This is a café style place, and I had read a lot of reviews from people complaining about the lack of service, I am not quite sure what they were expecting? This isn't a cater to you place to each, there is water station if you want to refill your water. Now with that said service was great! We did not go without anything, Like I said we were a party of 13 and everyone's orders came out quickly. I went with the chicken dos tacos, the taco shell was lightly fired and the chicken was juicy and great. These were great tacos, they come with some chips and salsa. Because of the reviews I had read I went in with low expectations, but I can personally say I was very pleased with the food and the service we received. We all enjoyed our dinner and our company.
