Arizona Bread Company - Scottsdale

I ordered online for pickup and chose the Roast-Rindclub sandwich with a specific type of meat and speck. However, I received a sandwich loaded with all kinds of meat instead of what I requested. I had clearly noted my preference in the special comments and even confirmed it over the phone when I spoke to someone who told me I would need to pay extra for the speck. Additionally, I ordered a broth, which they forgot to include. I live 20 minutes away, so when I called to ask for a refund for the missing broth, the person hung up on me. When I called back, she told me I would have to return to pick it up, which isn’t feasible for me. She then mentioned I should call back on Friday when the owner would be there. It seems the staff isn’t properly trained to handle refunds, and I’m extremely unhappy with the experience.

People who give this place a bad rating because of the previous business are simply being unfair. This is not the same restaurant! This is not Amy's Baking Company.

I visited this restaurant and felt compelled to share my experience because of how unhinged the blonde owners are in their treatment of the staff. It was shocking!

I've been here for years and it's never disappointed. the brot is the best, fresh ingredients and friendly staff.

5 Stars? Yes because this is the place I keep coming back to. I eat lunch, bring friends, buy bread, celebrate birthdays...it's my favorite little neighborhood place. If you want to pay twice as much and have more plush surroundings, Scottsdale is happy to oblige. But if you're looking for fresh, generous, delicious food in a casual atmosphere, come join me. I'll be refilling my fresh brewed tea and chatting with a friend or two. Shout out to Amy you are precious!
