Trader Joe's - Scottsdale

I highly recommend trying the Japanese fried rice at this restaurant! It's delicious and also vegan-friendly. They also offer a variety of great vegan frozen entrees that are perfect for taking to work during the week. My personal favorites were the vegan Pad Thai and vegan red curry, priced at $2.50 and $2.99 each. I did have some trouble with the vegan spring rolls falling apart, but that could have been due to my cooking skills (or lack thereof). Luckily, I also discovered some tasty vegan muffins here. While one worker was a bit rude, the rest of the staff were very friendly. This review has been updated from a previous one posted on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013.

I recommend trying the Japanese roasted rice at this restaurant! It is delicious and naturally vegan. I also discovered some great vegan frozen options to have during the week. My favorite dishes were the vegan pad Thai and vegan red curry, which were both priced at only $2.50-$2.99 each. I tried the vegan spring rolls, but unfortunately they fell apart, possibly due to my lack of cooking skills. The vegan muffins were also a tasty find. I made a quick stop at this restaurant to grab some food for my airport and flight. I got a baguette, hummus, chocolate, and more. Trader Joe's had everything I needed in the familiar environment that I'm used to. The restaurant also had a beautiful southwestern mural.
