Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is exactly what Peebles needed. After spending 25 years searching cities and countries for places to eat or hold functions, I finally found something special in the Scottish Borders. The beautiful and up-to-date decor, friendly and pleasant staff, extensive beer garden, breathtaking views, and diverse menu that caters to everyone from small children to picky grandparents make this place stand out. I have dined here multiple times during the week, on weekends, and also attended a function. The food is always fresh and of excellent quality. The chef takes the time to ensure that guests get exactly what they want. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
A breath of fresh air. we visited the courthouse last week after a high time in the church next to the day before. we thought to see Sunday dinner before our long trip to house and gald, after all the years there is a place that ensures everyone. my wife asked if she could have the scallops from the evening restaurant menu, as she longed for some time on a decent seafood, said the waitress, that would be no problem. I ordered the gourmet berry menu, I had the elvis and when it came, I said to sarah I am all shaken it saw a miracle of a burger and the taste not disappointed juicy, big and tasty is all I have to say. sarah 's scallops came and she...read more
Fantastic! I was at the Courthouse and everything was absolutely fabulous! The food I had was exceptional. The chicken liver pate was to die for, and I decided to try the gnocchi for a change, which was also delicious. For dessert, I ordered the banoffee pie, which was fantastic! The staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. I will definitely be returning to the Courthouse to try more items on the menu. If you haven't been to the Courthouse, I highly recommend going and trying their amazing food!
The menu at this restaurant is a mix of everything, including tapas, pasta, haggis, kebabs, and nachos. Despite being instructed not to complain, I found the haggis to be overpriced at £6.95 and lacking whisky sauce. The pate was also disappointing, with a rough and bitter taste. Overall, the food was only passable, with the only highlight being the homemade items. I would recommend that the restaurant improve on the quality of their dishes.
