Booked through the app at 6:10, and was told order would be ready between 6:35-6:50. I received a second email stating order would be ready at 7:05. When I went to collect, they struggled to find my order, then told me they hadn't started to cook it yet, and to come back in 20 mins. Eventually got my order at 7:45. Once home, I discovered one of the orders was wrong, and definitely not what we had ordered. An entirely frustrating and disappointing experience. I will not be back!

88 year old Pensioner ordered a FAMILY treat for elderly 88 years old Pensioners family but we ordered 2 Lamb Jalfrezi and 1 chicken curry as a meal for 3. THE STARTERS WERE COLD!HARD! Popadums missing and it was 1 hr later than promised. Rather than the meal Contractually agreed over the telephone,to our disappointment 2 non-descript chicken curries arrived 1 of which contained chicken that was off ,certainly not what was ordered. We phoned the Take Away Curry house and were met with denial of any error or problem. At this point Mother was near to tears.Mr Singh Jr are you ever going to call us back.

Thought we'd give them a try as they're the last Indian takeaway left in Hawick. Wish we hadn't bothered now. OH ordered online and went to collect from the Hawick shop at 8pm as instructed, only to find out that our order had been placed with the Galashiels shop. Not sure why in their wisdom they thought that was closer, 12 miles as opposed to 5 miles to Hawick. After waiting for about 30 mins for the order to be made in Hawick, now about 75 mins after the order was placed online, he headed home. I really wasn't impressed, instead of onion bhajis, I had lumps of onion cooked in a horrible batter with a very pink dressing, OH had prawn puri which was very stodgy bread and more like sweet and sour than puri. The mains weren't too bad. So, of you want an Indian takeaway in Hawick, you are stuffed as the good ones have gone.

We have ordered from this restaurant before, usually picking up our food, but this time we decided to have some family over for drinks and get delivery instead. The restaurant told us it would take 45 minutes to an hour for our food to arrive, so we asked how long it would take for a pick-up order in case it was faster. Surprisingly, they told us it would also take the same amount of time. We waited for 3 hours and still had not received our delivery. We called the restaurant three times during this time period and each time we were told that our order was on its way and would be there in 5 minutes. They even claimed that the delivery driver had left with our order. However, when we called back again, we were informed that they were unable to get in touch with any delivery drivers and could not provide us with a clear answer on when our food would arrive. Frustrated, I told them that I would not be paying for the order if and when it finally showed up. The person on the phone became rude and argumentative. Overall, the service we received was absolutely appalling.
