Tate's - Scott City

Terrible!! My tennis team and I stopped there to grab some dinner and go back to the hotel, I should have known I wasn't going to have a good experience when all the tables were dirty. The food was inedible, everything was soggy and not fresh, as soon as I got done eating I threw up. Service could have been better as well. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I had the 7 oz New York strip steak and I have to say it was the most flavorful steak I have had in a long time. the baked potato was done just right and the service was friendly and accommodating. the wife had the shrimp dinner and she was very impressed at the size and flavor of the shrimp. Even the salads were fresh and tasty.

Had a real good cheeseburger ? and ?. It was one of the specials. Reasonable price and a nice waitress. Overall, good dining experience. I will go back.

Food is usually delicious; lots of times they're a bit busier than they can handle, so there's quite a wait for the food. Their Wednesday evening burger specials are good and a good price. Kid-friendliness: Have a kids menu and smaller cups with lids.

Just passing thru and stopped for lunch. Great food and service! Portions were big enough to share. Don't pass up your opportunity!
