Berghoff's Cafe - Scott City

Our first experience here was better. The second is not so good. Service was mediocre. Food was not good at all for the price. I got a tiny biscuit that cost 3.99 and two tiny eggs for over 5.00. My friend had pancakes and bacon but said it wasn't so good. But the kicker is the coffee. It was AWFUL ?!!? If it had been good the other grievances would have melted away! They are trying to economize on the coffee but that is not profitable in the long run. But they do have a monopoly. There is no other ma and pop Cafe for over 10 miles or more that is open on Sundays after Church.

Service is a little slow but not for lack of trying; the servers are excellent .

Always happy every time I come here. Daily specials are what I usually get but I try a little of everything and never been disappointed. Great service and friendly staff. Kid-friendliness: Always get an extra plate for the kiddo

This is a great little restaurant with good food and good prices.
