Freeze - Scotland Neck

The food was truly fantastic. The chicken was incredibly fresh, and after all these years, it still tastes just as delicious as ever.

Today, I visited the Freeze for the second time under the Parker family's ownership. I must say that the customer service was excellent during both of my visits. The slow-cooked turkey BBQ sandwich is definitely a winner. However, I found the Pizza Burger to be lacking compared to the quality set by the original owners of the Freeze.

We stopped by around noon on a Saturday and were informed that they had unsweetened tea, but no sweet tea. They also didn't have chicken tenders, and when we received our order, it was incorrect. After sending it back, it still wasn't right. By then, we were so frustrated that we decided to just forget about the missing items; they seemed to be lost somewhere along with the staff's focus. It was a disappointing experience overall, and the fried chicken was dry and tough—definitely not worth raving about. My family has decided not to return.

It can be challenging for any new management to meet the expectations set by the original owners of the Original Freez, but I must say the current owners are doing an excellent job. The food is great, and we still get the same enjoyable Freez experience. They've even introduced a few new items to the menu. Change can be a positive thing... If they maintain this high level of service, they are sure to thrive.
