Royal - Scone

I will never go back again. The food was terrible. Four of my friends ordered different dishes: one had the fish and took a bite, but said it smelled strange; another ordered the lasagna, which was cold; and the other two had sausages and potatoes, and their meal was also cold. We also stayed overnight, and the room was tiny, the window was drafty, and the bathroom was disgusting. I definitely won’t be returning.

We enjoyed 14 meals in the beer garden/outdoor area, including beer-battered fish and chicken. It’s a great selection and definitely worth it. While it's not overly fancy, the place is clean, cozy, and has a friendly atmosphere.

Eat bar service fantastic but the accommodation (1 double bed 1 single bed) was very cramped plus the communal shower wc, in my opinion, let the pub down.

The best nights sleep I had during on the road in a long time in the rooms from the back, friendly bar staff and beautiful mood over the place

Smells horrible, so ancient it's haunted. Dirty muggy mouldy vibes. Slow service but nice receptionist, not their fault! Could use a massive renovation or even demolish and rebuild.
