Bidrage med feedbackSchwetzingen is not only known for its good asparagus, but also for its brewery landscape. And so we originally hoped for a Welde brewhouse under the desired place with the Welde logo on the facade. Apparently with a very generous beer garden and that in the very best location, namely on the finish line to the Schwetzinger Schloss. The fact that the place is a little bit later than a coffee house does not mean that our choice does not stop. Because both the food and drink offer and the excellent service during the stay leave nothing to be desired. We are definitely very done! The riiiieeesige, extensive card can be used either by using QR code designed at the table or can be consulted as usual. The breakfast offers alone are immense and very lush and probably hardly to cope with. But even the rest of the menu, along with season ticket, makes a kink. In addition to soups, salads, toasts, pasta, meat, fish and vegetarians, nice things are also offered which, for example, operate under “laciers”: this includes a quiche Lorraine as well as a fresene pan or a house-dressed Ikarimi salmon. The cake, ice cream and dessert card also makes you look even if you only scroll through the offer and Süssem is not actually at all. The huge offer alone is shaken. The location in front of the Schwetzinger Schloss, with a view to the Schlossplatz and the colorful driving on the streets, however, may not be enough for everyone. Although the service pack is medic and balances quantities of beverages and food past us, we are waiting for too long to find the way to our table. No evil intention, but simply overload! We come a bit in the conversation and learn that the young, well-launched and charming lady takes well 20,000 steps a day. There are also some gymnastic exercises. Chapeau! We order 1x Salat Byzanz (in reminiscent of the morning grotto in the castle park) for 14.90 Euro and 1x baked sheep cheese with vegetables for 11.90 Euro. The lush salad perfectly combines the desires for something hearty and at the same time a refreshing snack. On a generous bed of salad leaves, red onion rings and some watery tomato slices are several tranches of delicately fried, Mediterranean spiced lamb, in between there are some cheese cubes. If everything is fine, it was freshly prepared and not drowned in a sticky dressing. A bit more disappointing, unfortunately, is the sheep's cheese, which should be served according to the map in the vat, but is presented on a boring plate. But the cheese has been thoroughly tanned in the oven or under a salad and fits perfectly with tomato and olives. The initially forgotten cutlery moves to our table in less than one minute. Flink is here, fleissig and also awakened. The No 1 Slow Beer Pils (the 0.33 liter bottle for 3.60 euros) comes naturally from Welde. The glass to this end resembles a double-high glass. Probably a new creation, although visually somewhat irritating. Outside on the terrace it sits quite formidabel on this sunny autumn day. Only at the entrance to the toilet you will see the spacious guest rooms inside, Unfortunately, the descent to the toilets in the UG is anything but convenient. The tightly curved metal staircase can only be recommended for the whole fitte and sportive. I've seen guests who are on all fours struggling up and down. This is actually grossly negligent and the only manko in this extensive coffee house. It is urgently necessary to upgrade. Because space for a walk-in toilet should be available in these huge halls.
