Ars Vivendi - Schwerin

After a chilly stroll with the kids around the Schloss we were delighted to spot this cafe/restaurant as we walked across the park. The waitress made us feel extremely welcome and was fantastic with the kids, making us all feel very at ease. We had...a selection of cakes with our coffee. They were among the best I have tasted. Really light and delicious. When we had finished the waitress gave the kids some biscuits and two chunks of bread to feed the ducks on the frozen lake. We all had a super experience and will definitely return for dinner on our next visit.

We were lucky enough to find this place during the Castle night festivities where the bbq style fare was a very welcome break from the usual German offerings. Our anniversary night seemed a good reason to visit again. Everything was well thought out and married...together very well. The waiter also chose a great wine to compliment our choices. We will certainly visit again soon.

We were taken to this restaurant by a local friend who knows Schwerin well. Vivendi is supposedly of the very best restaurants in town. And indeed, we the food here was of outstanding quality. The menu featured appealing sounding Italian dishes, appetizers as...well as main courses. The of us ordered all a different meal, and each of these was of very fine taste and quality indeed. For a warm summer's evening, it was a excellent choice as we could sit outside in the quiet garden. Our casual clothing was no problem at all (because of the warm weather, all of us were dressed in shorts, polo's and sneakers). Don't forget to try one of those very nice deserts! I have never had a better crème brulé anywhere else before. If you don't know of this place, you wouldn't find it easily by chance, as it is not in the middle of the city center, but somewhere hidden in the vast gardens that surround the city castle. This restaurant used to be a tea house belonging to the castle's original residents. An excellent choice for a quality dinner in very peaceful surroundings!

We are far from all parts of Germany to a family-proof journey! there was something to eat for all tastes. tasty, varied and for enjoyable, but also for getting tired. the hosting extremely accommodating, explained to us what it was and followed when the teller emptied. for all the family, even those who are used to the upscale Italian cuisine, a high-end! Many thanks for the beautiful evening! and inexpensive that was really appropriate.

We were already 3 times (March 2016, september 2016 and februar 2017) in the ars vivendi and were thrilled each time. which is not so easy with us. tasty eating, friendly and refreshing service, chefin cheerful and would like to offer guests a nice stay.I have lived in italia, I know how it must taste something, who of course wants to pour huge portions into themselves in no time is wrong here. it's about enjoying, telling, drinking and spending time together. I call it alive. so, always happy, even once without the whole bagasch ;-)
