The Townhouse Od's - Schull

Good brunch but not great service. Took a while for our order to be taken but took even longer for food to be served. It was a simple order but waitress had to be reminded to serve our food after over a 35 min wait with no explanation. The restaurant was quiet, I wouldn't like to see the wait time during a busy period.

Delicious Seafood Chowder. Nicely presented and yummy. Nice decor. Attentive, cheery service too! Although it was open when we were there, they had nice outdoor seating in the back.

Very busy restaurant, attentive staff until main course, then did not see them again until we left the restaurant leaving the main dishes on the table, no offer of clearing, desserts or coffees. Food was good aside from fish chips which tasted a little off and was not eaten, garlic prawns ordered as main but when they discovered that they had served them to us as starter took them away and reheated and reserved as the main, seriously over cooked., I think what made it worse was nobody asked us when paying if we had enjoyed the meal,

As a group of 10 we arrived in for an evening dinner on a Friday. We had booked in an advance and we were seated on time and our drinks order was taking straight away. The Guinness was of the highest creaminess and we were asked anytime a waiter passed if we required any more drinks. The food was of excellent quality, fish and chips were delicious along with the Prawns, Muscles and Burgers. The portion size was more than enough, after a stsrter and a main I nearly had to be rolled out of there. Great service and excellent food at a reasonable price. Would recommend and would go back again.

10 out of 10 all round. The atmosphere is so pleasant and relaxing. The staff, every one of them were friendly, polite, good humoured and just plain lovely. The service was impeccable. With all of that being so amazing, I actually wouldn’t have minded if the food was sub par but it didn’t disappoint. I ordered fish and chips and it was divine. The brownie for dessert was mouthwatering. I couldn’t find fault if I tried. Keep up the great work guys. Ye nailed it.
