Quality Inn O'hare Airport

The front staff were so helpful. And the hotel was lovely. We had food and drinks in the bar. The food was amazing very reasonably priced and great portion size. My teenage daughter cleared her plate which doesn’t happen that often. Lovely helpful bar staff and the shuttle drivers were great as well

This hotel is one of many on Mannheim Road. Wedged (literally) between a major highway and a major street, this hotel is not quiet. In addition, outside my room was lawn and a flock of communicative birds. Not owned by Choice Hotels, recently acquired by new owners, the property offers NO breakfast. In my room the toilet was kid size (small, low) and the bathtub had a slick bottom and no grab bar where it would have been needed. From the hotel, the airport shuttle works well; from the airport you may need to call. Afterwards, I had to go online to get a receipt it was slightly more than the confirmation, but the base price of the room was the same. The hotel offers a nighttime restaurant; I don't know about the prices, because I didn't eat there. This is important, because a car is required to get to other food possibilities (I had a rental car, which I returned to the airport the afternoon before I left. While I was waiting for the hotel shuttle, I had dinner at the airport).

Horrible place. The shuttle will take forever to arrive. The driver is clearly doing other gigs with it. Staff is completely incompetent and indifferent. The corridors are full of a weird stench (combination of urine and stale cigarette smoke). It is a test of strength to walk through them. Roaches and ants in the bathroom The power in our room randomly went out. Had to wait around in the dark until someone went and fixed it. We thought an overnight halt while transiting would be fine. Nope. Nooooo. No no no no no. Never again. Unless you’re really strapped for cash stay at any of the million other hotels in the vicinity.

Stayed here since it was close to O'Hare and the Blue line. The shuttle service was great. Dropped us off right by the train. When we came back the van was there. Love how it runs every 30 minutes. The restaurant is also great! We arrived at the hotel right before midnight, and even though they were done serving food, they put some french fries in for us. There is also a nice selection of drinks. This was our second stay here and would not hesitate to stay again! I also have to mention the staff is very friendly and helpful!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 reasons, one being the proximity to O'Hare. The other being that their listing online indicated they had breakfast. when we got to our room, the booklet inside the room also indicated they have breakfast in the mornings. we got up the next morning and went to have breakfast, to find out they don't offer it. Had to pay for breakfast at O'Hare. there were plenty of other hotels we could have gone to had we known they didn't actually have breakfast. Very disappointed.
