Bidrage med feedbackFirst time customer. Got the classic sausage deep dish. Didn 't live up to expectations AT ALL. The sauce wasn 't that good. The sausage was incredibly boring. The crust was just ok. As a whole, the word lackluster comes to mind. Maybe it 's just this location, but if they 're all like this... Overrated. For sure. Also, I did curbside pickup. I sat a half hour longer than I needed to because I apparently didn 't pull up to the right spot. The website didn 't specify. Their email/order confirmation didn 't specify. And no signs posted outside. An employee eventually came and asked if I was there to pickup. It was only then that I was informed that I should have parked over there instead. So waiting waiting waiting for no reason. Not impressed with them at all.
Absolutely terrible. I got one gluten-free pizza and one regular thin crust. The crust's seemed identical..... I don't know if they both for gluten-free or they both weren't. The edges of the pizza were so hard you couldn't even eat it. I got half spinach half and mushroom I only saw one mushroom on the whole half. The pizza that was supposed to be regular thin crust was cold while the gluten-free one was hot. It's unbelievable how terrible both the pizzas were..... I was so unsure if the pizza was actually gluten-free I was too scared to eat it.
Words cannot express the disappointment with this location. I usually travel to the Flossmoor location but decided to give this location another chance. I suggest the following to the management of Schererville order a pizza from Flossmoor and do a taste test. That location never disappoints with the quality of their pizzas. I ordered the small Chicago Classic and Medium Sausage and Cheese (both deep dish). They were both overcooked. Hard as a rock. I'm not sure how both pizzas left the kitchen in that condition. Does management/head cook not know how a pizza supposed to look? Definitely not burned and hard. Don't waste your time go to Flossmoor or even Chicago if you want that great taste that Lou Malnati's is known for. They don't care at this location.
I ordered online and per the website it stated curbside service would meet you out front with your order. I got there early so I waited in my car and parked in front of the building when it was time for my order I parked in front of the door near the curb. No one came out so I went in and asked if there was curbside service the two women said no the curb is on the otherside. There were no customers. The curbside signs were inside. I came early and there was a truck in the area on the side of the building. I guess it was too much to ask for them to come out and say so. I got the pizza home and it wasn't as good as the Lou Malnati's I have been eating since 1996. It was extra greasy, the crust was bland, and the sauce had no flavor. I will stick to the downtown locations. Very disappointed.
I love Lou’s, but this is not what their pizza is about. We have had plenty of great pizza in the past from this location, but over the last year it’s gotten worse. A soupy deep dish was not ideal for a family night. Hopefully things change in the future!
