Da Balbo - SCARLINO

Went last month twice in the same week, great food with tuscan game and specialties, also a good selection of wines. Friendly stuff and Scarlino is a cool place itself.

We went there on the 27/6 as it's near to the place we stayed. When search in TripAdvisor, the reviews are awesome so we decide to give a try. Words been said, Tuscany has the best steak (Fiorentina, if I get it right My fiance is a big eater, had a 1.3kg steak all by himself. I had seafood it's so fresh. Steak was awesome. Friendly awesome staff. Reservations has to be made in advance to avoid disappointment. They only serve dinner at present moment. Nice view, awesome people. Love their Italian accent, even do my fiance is an Italian himself but their accent is diff. Will definitely come again In future.

We had an amazing lunch experience and enjoyed local food at its best. The restaurant is family run with the mamma in the kitchen, the father preparing delicious fresh pasta and ravioli and the sun taking care of his guest. We enjoyed a full menu choosing from the menu a primo, secondo and a desert. It was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Further, our daughter eats glutenfree and both pasta and bread was available. Ask for the wine recommendation and you will not be disappointed. A great experience which we enjoyed a lot. The friendliness of the entire family who we got to know makes the difference. Well done!
