We never go anywhere else when we vist whitby, Always good food at reasonable price, Down to earth staff, can't fault it.

Four of us had traditional English breakfast. The quantity and quality was fabulous. A cup of tea was even included in the price. The staff were very pleasant and the place very clean and tidy. Great location.

At less than a tenner the Full English breakfast here is excellent value for money. Ample portions of good quality ingredients. Cooked and presented perfectly by the friendly owner/chef. The breakfast here is indeed a belly buster comprising 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 fried eggs on fried bread, 2 hash browns, plum tomatoes, baked beans, mushrooms, black pudding, toast and tea or coffee. All served in a nicely appointed and decorated cosy cafe which is part of the railway station. Highly recommended. 10/10.

We waited nearly an hour for 2 cooked breakfasts, they served regular customers before us that came in after us. When we finally got our breakfast it was awful, full of grease, the grease ran off the bacon and the fried bread was literally saturated in grease , neither my husband or I could eat it, we tried a bite of the fried bread and it made us both feel sick, the black pudding was rock hard and bacon was tough , the sausages were just full of grease and the egg was swimming in it , we had the toast with some of the beans the toast was hardly buttered , no nice presentation, both my husband and I felt sick and bloated all day just with the bite of fried bread we had, won't be returning, the cost was £16.50

Fantastic food at affordable prices. Huge portions, fresh ingredients. Will definitely be going back when next in whitby. Friendly husband wife team running it. All cooked fresh to order. Photo of my fish chips only £9.95.
