The Poachers Barn - Scarborough

We booked a room for one night and we found ourselves very well. Only 65 euros for a double, I would say a good price considering the proximity to Scarborough. Too bad for negative reviews, but we didn't have dinner at the pub and so we can't judge. We can only express a positive opinion for the room. Comfortable parking and spacious and clean room.

After a wet stroll on Cayton Bay beach, we paused for a drink at this restaurant. The team welcomed us warmly and were very kind to our dogs. The food was delicious - a must-visit spot if you're in the area!

What is going on with this place. Used to be a great little quiet pub, but in last couple of years it’s had more landlords than customers. Come on Marstons, sort it out. Now it’s got more wannabes in change. Place has gone

Nice pub and staff were friendly, just disappointed with the food. There was hardly anything on the menu available. And when the meal came out it’s was missing items felt a little ripped off the hunters chicken was nice but the fries were very greasy. Unfortunately won’t be eating there again. But definitely for a drink as great bar.

This pub is under very new management and we called in for lunch while in the area on holiday. Our meal was really lovely and the manager and staff are so friendly, would love to return and would highly recommend, veg chilli was to die for and very flavoursome. Thank you Carla and staff xxxx
