Bidrage med feedbackCalled with parents today following a walk along the promenade, found a table tucked at the side of the brick building which afforded some shelter from the wind, a couple of lattes a hot chocolate special along with 3 toasted tea cakes, a welcome treat on a sunny November morning, lady serving could’ve been a bit more pleasant but apart from that, nice visit! It is no longer Sea View Snacks but Sunrise Snacks, all wall menus are the same though!
Finally found this place to review from last year. And yes I did try to list it! Good tea and coffee served here and welcome on a cold day! In season, always busy and occasionally had to wait for a table in the summer months, but worth it.
The portion of chips at this restaurant is very generous and the prices are slightly lower than at the Cobble Landing. It is usually easier to find a table here. I have visited three times already and will definitely be returning. The new owner is also very friendly.
Called for a mid morning coffee, 1 cappuccino, 1 latte and 2 hot chocolate. All fab, sat and watched the world go by.
No tables left so got 3 chairs and brought a table over, met with a lady who had a little whinge about where we placed it so we moved it over (health safety first) Had 2 burgers, hot dog chips which were nice and we had just left and at the top of the stairs we saw the same woman moving the chairs and tables fair enough but then watched her gesticulating and very obviously talking about us. At least wait until we're out of view first.. or you might read about it on Trip Advisor....
