Pizzaexpress Scarborough

We stumbled upon a great spot for a family tea time! We always enjoy Pizza Express and the food was tasty as usual. It was a pleasant surprise to see they have a vegan menu, which we'll definitely keep in mind for our next visit. The service was quick and the staff was friendly.

We tried their Lemonade, Vegan Cannelloni, and a larger, thinner crust American Hot pizza and it was amazing! The dishes were full of flavors and cooked perfectly. We did add some chilli/garlic oil to make it spicier (we enjoy spicy food). The staff was friendly and helpful in suggesting menu options.

We came here for our anniversary: the food was amazing the staff was great the only downfall, is we wanted to to tip the lady herself and when we asked if the tips go to her direct she informed us they do not. The lady...was working on her own (Just her and the chef) I just don't think its fair that the tips don't go to the individual, we are big on tipping people when we feel they deserve it and was a little disappointing if I am honest. Otherwise a fantastic place I will be returning! but unfortunately not giving a tip unless it directly goes to the individuals who dealt with our order or people on shift that day and not to the company for their profit margins. Again AMAZING FOOD AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF.

We dined at this restaurant for dinner on a Friday evening. The restaurant was not quite full, but still had a lovely atmosphere. Our waiter, Michael, was wonderful - he was very friendly and took our order quickly. Although our main course took a bit longer than expected to arrive, Michael was very apologetic about the delay even though we hadn't complained. The food was delicious, as always at Pizza Express. We used our Tesco Clubcard rewards to pay our bill, so it ended up costing very little, which was a nice bonus.

Waited almost an hour for one medium size thin pizza with about five tiny bits of ham on it and what amounted to about of a bag of penne pasta mixed with a tin of tomato puree. Avoid this place it's ****!!
