Bidrage med feedbackI had lunch with my ex-step mother-in-law and daughter at this restaurant. I didn't try the chocolates, but they looked very good, just like the great selection of cakes. I ordered the steak with new potatoes and vegetables, and it was delicious. The dish was beautifully cooked, hot, and tasted like a home-cooked meal. The main course was priced at £10.95, which may seem a little expensive, but in my opinion, it was worth it. For an additional £3, they offer a starter or dessert, which would have been a nice touch, but I was already full. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but the restaurant was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. It's refreshing to find an independent restaurant in a world dominated by fast food chains. The location is central as well. I would definitely recommend this place.
I used to frequent this restaurant with my late mother and she really enjoyed it. I ordered the same dishes we had before and they were just as tasty. The coffee was a bit too strong for our liking, so I recommend asking for a half serving if you prefer it milder. Unfortunately, we were unable to try any meals due to restrictions, but overall it was still a pleasant little café experience.
I had a lovely afternoon tea with good service, although they were short-staffed. The only thing I did not enjoy was the chocolate. It was supposed to be caramel salted, but all I could taste was an overwhelming amount of salt.
Friendly cafe serving a large range of drinks and cakes. Relaxing atmosphere with cosy tables. Also has a selection of hand made chocolates and edible gifts.
Great food, good service. Will definitely go back again
