Zhong Guo Long - Savonlinna

This Chinese restaurant by the Market Square in the heart of town is perhaps the most comforta This Chinese restaurant near the Market Square provides a most pleasent cosey Place for a meal. The food is tastey and excellent, a big change from the food there some years ago with the previous owners. There is a good weekday lunch special for €8.50 and that would be worth the money. My only complaint was having to pay for tap water.

Not real Chinese food (I lived in China), but cooked to bland Finnish taste. OK if you want a change from Finnish food.

This place has nothing to do with chinese food. I ate a duck(cannot remember which one but with chili signs next to it) and it was clearly tastable that the spicyness came direct from a taco spice mix pouch. never again here.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times now and have to say that whatever you choose to get it'll be amazing. I love chinese food in general but this place is at least one of the best I have visited. The food choices in the menu aren't exactly extraordinary but the food is still amazingly tasty. Service is OK, nothing special. Definitely worth a try. Only problem is that here you'll probably eat too much if you want to try out more than one dish at a time. Happens to me every time

I don't like Chinese food but Zhong Guo Long is amazing. In my opinion, Chinese dishes usually taste the same, what ever you pick up from the list. But in Zhong Guo Long the dishes taste different. Maybe they use fresh ingredients or maybe the food they serve is not that Chinese but more like Finnish Chinese so even I can enjoy it. I've eaten Chinese food in China well, actually in Hongkong but anyway there I preferred McDonald's... I'm sorry: In Savonlinna, Zhong Guo Long is one of the best restaurants in town. Especially I like that the waitresses have a big smile all the time and it is VERY rare in Savonlinna.
