The Blue Hen Cafe In St. August

Wow! This little place serves the best brunch in St. Augustine and now is one of our favorite spots. We waited about 20 minutes for a table but it was worth it. You can order coffee, tea, and other beverages while you wait and they had benches to sit outside. The food was excellent. My daughter ordered the King's French Toast with peanut butter, banana, and honey inside it it was great. I had the pulled pork over grits which was excellent as well.

Great breakfast! The place was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a nice morning. The menu had lots of choices, from classic dishes to some fun new ones. I tried the chicken biscuit and the French toast, everything was delicious—fresh and full of flavor. The coffee was really good too, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for breakfast, and I’m looking forward to coming back!

The old location is easily 5 stars. But since they moved I can’t actually eat there, so it’s a 1 star from me. There never any parking and they won’t pick up the phone for call ahead orders. I’ve tried to go many times since they moved and had to drive away each time. For a local this is frustrating since the food is wonderful.
