L'Ermitage Hotel & Restaurant - Saulges

I stayed for a week in this hotel. It's really perfect! A professional and pleasant welcome. A very large and well-equipped room with a beautiful view. Great restaurant, we came there by chance while taking a walk. We had our 2 dogs. The very pleasant staff accepted our dogs for a drink on the terrace. Little extra accompaniment of toast with our glasses, which we really appreciated and a bowl of water for our dogs. To travel the area on a rainy day, we decided to eat lunch here. We couldn't have found a better place. The menu is limited and yet offers a wide selection. We enjoyed the food very much. Tasteful and well prepared. Don't expect culinary magic. The...wine adds to the experience. Service is friendly and attentive. The prices for lunch are very moderate. We will repeat when the occasion presents itself.

Our group of 6 had booked for a night on the way back from a weintour to bordeaux and were very pleasantly surprised with the excellent of the 9-course 65 euro discovery menu. 290 km from calais and. the hotel is very acceptable and ideal for our purpose. there were no hints for the composition of the solid, but each cure was prepared kreatiw and very tasty. on cold and hot entrees follows fish, an ingenious limoncello palate cleanser, viande, unusual filo baked byage and finally 2 desserts plus some unforgettable petit four. the maitre d was perhaps a bit brutal, but considering that the chef cook did a great job on his Sunday from his stellar representative! a return visit to the rehearsal of number one seems a must!
