Bidrage med feedback3.5 stars. This small restaurant has a dive site vibe with a pleasant staff. The cheese curds are outstanding, with a generous portion and tasty dough. Unfortunately, the Cajun-style seasoning was too salty and harsh. The smoked wings were decent, with a dry rub that was again overly salty. The BBQ ribs were tasty, but the pulled pork was a bit bland - the brisket would have been a better choice. The fries were perfectly crispy, but the coleslaw was unnecessary. The sauces were a bit hit or miss, and a Texas-style option with a balance of sweet and spicy flavors would be a welcome addition. The atmosphere is cozy and the beverage selection is good.
We want to express our gratitude to Wood BBQ for the amazing food provided for our wedding. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the beef, chicken, beans, potato salad, Italian salad, and most of all, the delicious ribs. Cody, our server, was professional and ensured that all food safety regulations were followed to guarantee the enjoyment and safety of our guests. The prices, food quality, and service were all exceptional. We would definitely return again in the future. Thank you!
I often drove from this place. I finally stopped for a quick lunch. Had the Plain Jane Brisket. It was great. The food came out quickly and I was on my way back in no time.
We had heard mixed reviews from others, but when we finally tried, we were very impressed by the food quality. Sitting is somewhat limited, but the sauces and the selection of dishes are very impressive. Will definitely be back. We tried the main rib on Saturday, it was excellent. Nice smoke taste, but not exaggerated. It was a perfect medium rare. Comes with pages, highly recommended.
I went to the restaurant for the fish fry tonight. The fish and shrimp were delicious. The smoked mac 'n cheese was tasty and the creamy coleslaw was really good. The BBQ baked beans were also a hit. Everything we ate was flavorful and filling. We will definitely be returning!
