Szechuan King - SAUGERTIES

One of the few places in the area that still makes her own egg rolls. The Tso’s gene is top notch and the staff is great.

The best Chinese food I’ve had in years. The egg rolls are insanely good. Shrimp and broccoli delicious. The fried rice actually had pork in it! The general Tso’s is actually spicy!

The best Chinese food I've had in a decade! It was quick and completely worth the price. The gentleman who took my order was polite and friendly. They also packed my meal beautifully for the trip back to the hotel. Great job!

My mother and I are currently too full to consider the duck; we only had the summer rolls and shrimp toast. The portion sizes here are generous—most places give you six pieces, but this one offers ten. We're looking forward to trying the Lemon Chicken and Happy Family dishes. We dined here years ago, and the waiter was fantastic—very attentive. We tipped him 17, but he really deserved more. Szechuan King is located on Main Street in Saugerties, NY. I really hope we can get through this pandemic and that their restaurant will reopen soon because I highly recommend it. In the meantime, if you can't wait, there's takeout available.

The Chinese food was quite good. I didn't catch the name of the restaurant while ordering. Due to COVID, I wasn't allowed inside, and although they said it would take 20 minutes, it ended up taking about 45 minutes before I finally received the correct order. The pickup process felt a bit chaotic. However, considering the overall taste and price, I think it was worth it.
