Bidrage med feedbackThis place is hands down the worst excuse for a burger joint ever. There is not one redeeming quality about it. Everything about it from the front line staff to the management is wrong. If it was possible to leave a score lower than 1 I would. Let me set the stage for you.I've got a flight. I've got some time to kill. I'm kinda hungry. There's not a lot of choice. My motto has always been when in doubt, grab a burger. It's hard to really mess one up but True Burger found a way.There was a lineup to order. A very slow lineup which should have been my first clue. In fact it moved so slowly I walked over to the bar and sat myself there. I timed it. The lineup would have taken me 10 minutes to get my order taken. Part of that might be there was only one person at the cash even though there were several other employees available. But back to my story. The person behind the counter was very rude and demanded that I order something to drink from the bar to be seated there. Well, with such kind words how could I resist. The beer selection was mediocre but I ordered one. I opted for a bottle because I didn't trust their glassware to be clean. Their burgers come plain and you need to order toppings. Did I mention that everything, other than onions, are premium? Yes. If you want a tomato, pickle, grilled onions or mushrooms you need to pay $0.25 per topping. That's a little extreme so I choose plain onions and some dijon mustard. Hell, the cheeseburger itself was over $10.00 to begin with. I'm not paying more especially with the $9.00 bottle of beer in front of me. The burger took it's time. While I was waiting I noticed that more than once people were coming back saying they had gotten the wrong order and the girl behind the counter getting upset with them. It wasn't the customer's fault that somebody messed up their order yet every time the girl acted like it was somehow the customer's fault.My food arrives. No treat to enjoy the food, just a bored, "here you go" before walking away. Oh this girl is not getting a tip.I take a bite and the texture is off. It was strangely soft like it had no grain to it. A good burger should have a bit of coarseness to it, a bit of bite from the bits of meat. This had a uniform texture. Like it was heavily processed then used binders and agents to glue it all together. The result was smooth yet rubbery. Very disconcerting. It was also very salty to the point where it tasted like the burger had been brined which could explain the slight rubberyness of the meat. No grilling, just a bit of very light browning on it. I'd wager that this had been microwaved at some point which could also explain the texture. The fries were average. It's really hard to screw up french fries. During all this, even though she was doing nothing, the server didn't come and ask how it was. Obviously she didn't care. Maybe if she did she'd get more tips. But I eventually ate as much as I could but couldn't finish it and pushed it away. Guess what? The server is now ignoring me completely. I had to physically go over to where she was and ask for my bill. And she seemed put off by this. Sorry I got in the way of your texting but you need to be paying attention to your customers.I paid the bill. Fished around in my pockets for change and left a nickle as a tip. I would have left a penny but they've all but disappeared now. Any time you take the time out to give such a lousy tip it means you were disgusted by the service. I've worked hospitality before. I know the value of tips. I know how to get them and I know that sometimes it takes a little bit of effort on the part of the server to get a good one. This place stayed with me. I looked online to try to find the company's website but can't find it. It's literally not there. I then contacted the Pearson directly and complained to them but they were little help so a little more digging and I found the company that owns it. Well I got in contact with them.You know the first thing that you do when confronted with an unsatisfied guest? You say you're sorry. Even if you don't feel it, you need to make them believe that you are truly sorry. I never got a sorry from these people. The only thing I got was, "let me know how much it was and I'll re-imburse you". It's like they know how bad this place is but can't be bothered to actually fix it. They know that maybe only 1 in 100 people is going to complain. The rest won't do a damned thing about it. I told them to get stuffed. Without even trying to find out what the problem was they just wanted to throw money at me to make me go away.Well you know what? Everybody needs to do this. Everybody needs to contact Pearson and let them know how bad this place is. Everybody needs to complain about how bad this place is. If they throw enough money at people then maybe they'll realize that they need to fix it.
If there is a vote less than 1 this place deserves it. The meat is not fresh! Come on! Or it is old or it cooked very bad! I have been here just for a meal before my flight! Really a terrible experience starting from the order! The blonde waitress look like stoned and she forgot my beer twice! They are focus only when it s time to pay. Bill s expensive ! Keep away guys! Ah! I remember that also men near me was upset about what was going on and now having a look at votes i understand why
Staff seemed disinterested here, everything seemed like a chore, seriously the management of this place need to sort this out rapidly. The front end of a business should always be a smiling, welcoming side, even if you're food is bad, service is the first impression, I wasn't impressed, I asked for a second drink of a staff member who was looking at their cell phone, I was ignored and then she walked off saying she didn't work there, even though she was behind the bar, poor. And very over priced for a badly served beer, $9!!
Surprisingly long wait for a restaurant in an airport. Took a long time to order and then a long time to receive food. Burger was adequate, if a touch greasy.
Rude staff bad attitude and poor service, ordered a burger with Mayo tomatoes and other stuff, on opening up no mayo and tomatoes. Will never return.
