Bidrage med feedbackNice atmosphere, good service. Not as loud as some of the new places. The appetizers were fine and well presented (although both were raw foods so hard to mess up). The mains however were just OK, and certainly not tasty enough to justify the artistically small portions. Left hungry, which you don't really expect after having pasta.
We are huge fans of the Hollows but had never been here before. Loved the atmosphere! The food was delicious - would definitely be back!
First time at Primal Pasta ... I'm a big fan of the chefs' other restaurant, The Hollows. As expected, Primal Pasta delivered. A very well composed and tasty pork scaloppini dish. The kitchen has a great eye for composition and flavour.
We visited this restaurant this evening and my friend and I were underwhelmed with the food and the service. I had the rigatoni which for the most part was very good but it had arugula as the "greens" in the pasta. I would have passed on the meal if I had known that - but that is just a personal preference. Otherwise it was quite good and the truffle oil provided a nice earthy flavour. My friend had the carbonara and she agreed with the other reviewers...you have to work to make spaghetti carbonara that bland. The fried bread was nice and freshly cooked...the olives were good but would have been great if they had been served at room temp.
Our anniversary dinner at Primal was amazing. The food was so fresh. I love pasta and this was about the best I have ever had. The lemon dessert was amazing. I will return again and again just to have that dessert. Too good. My wife also had a pasta option and loved it as well. He had a pistachio and cherry ice cream for dessert and it was amazing as well.
