Excellent food. Seasonings were spot on from New Orleans style Creole. Only low point is no parking. Give it a try, the food is a kick in the pants.
My boyfriend and I went here because we heard they serve crocodile._The crocodile bites alone are delicious! (Its like a cross between calimari and
My first time I ordered the gator Po-boy sandwich and it was amazing. Their shrimp with fried green tomatoes was amazing for an appetizer. I highly recommend the entire menu as I have not been disappointed yet.
This was our first time eating here. We came for a weekend getaway and wanted something different so we decided to try the Cajun creole flair promised here. Upon sitting down, we were advised "their debit went down a couple months ago, so to solve the problem we got an atm by the door and a square (phone attachment) for accepting credit". This seemed a bit odd - why would they not have their debit machine fixed? We tried the duck poppers, which although not bad, were a small portion (3 poppers) for the price and served with regular ranch dressing. For the entree, we tried the tasting trio and chose gumbo, shrimp and grits and étouffée. The shrimp and grits with the fried green tomato was the best, the rest was a bit underwhelming. For dessert we wanted to try the beignets, but were informed they were out so we chose fried peach pie and sweet potato iced cream. It was great! Easily the best part of our meal. Our entire visit took a little more than two hours. We were left waiting a very long time for food and between courses. We overheard that they were down someone in the kitchen but were not advised of this personally or offered any compensation for the wait as another table beside us were. That table did leave. I think we would try again and hope to catch them on a better day, but for now, a little put off.
