I had the breakfast special which was a lot of food and cooked perfectly for the price. The coffee was decent and the waitress was quick, friendly, and satisfactory.

Great menu for the brunch crowd. We showed up with 9 guest, and were seated within 3 minutes, and we did not make a reservation. The best thing was we all sat at the same table. The menu had many different items to choose from, and the prices are very comparable to other spots in Saskatoon.

While driving around Saskatoon at lunch time, we decided to stop at Grainfields Family Restaurant. We both ordered the Mexican Skillet, a popular dish that had only been added to the menu about a month ago. The skillet was filled with garlic tater tots, Tex. Mex beef, peppers, onions, mango, avocado, cheese, eggs, and sour cream. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Grainfields Family Restaurant.

I have been here a few times. And to be honest while the service is ok, the food needs some work. One time I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelette. The spinach and mushrooms were both raw, which in turn cooled off the egg and honestly who wants raw mushrooms in an omelette?? Just last weekend I had the eggs benedict. The ham was about 1 centimeter thick if not thicker. All you could taste was the ham. The egg was fried. Yes fried. A poached egg is what it is supposed to be. I don't know if I will ever return. Each time I have gone I have been disappointed.
