Restaurant Hanul Cetatii - Saschiz

My favorite foods are beef soup with acid cream and hot peppers. Good food and fast service. prices are really very low for this place.

Excellent food and a nice host. For such a small village I found it was pretty. It rained outside and the worm food changed my mood.

The only place listed for a meal in Saschiz not open at lunchtime. We were disappointed the UNESCO church not really fortified like Biertan and closed for restoration . Only 20km on highway from Sighişoara thankfully.

We only got the drinks fast. Then no service for 30 minutes, no waiter in sight. We couldn't order food or pay, we had to search for the waitress all the way to the bar. Also, no toilet paper available in the women's restroom, we...waited for it for 10 minutes. The only nice thing was the location.

Location is great, some beautiful views, beautiful courtyard, and friendly service. The food left it, even the Romanian clamps: cold plates, greasy, not especially warm. It's a pity that it could do much better with a little more attention on these things.
