Captain John's Fish & Chips - Sarnia

Halibut and chips had a generous portion of fish. Seafood platter was also very good with Haddock,scallops and shrimp. All in a light crispy batter coating. Fries are nothing special but they are not the main attraction. Great service. Eat in or take out. Also have broasted chicken on the menu for non fish lovers.

Had a sit down meal a while back here. Fish was fairly expensive and all deep fried. No atmosphere here, interior stark and antiseptic. Better off going to Purdy's by the river for a real fish fry!

Very good fish and chips ask for the fish to be lightly battered Service is quick and food is good . Friday's dinner time is pretty busy

They have a light batter that is crispy but doesn't fly off in flakes when you cut it. The fish is always solid and not that falling apart sloppy mess you get in other places. The fries are also home made. I really don't bother much with utensils when I eat here! Always fresh and hot! My favourite place for fish & chips!

We called and picked up supper, to many fries for us and everyone who we spoke to, we got 3 pieces for haddock not to big and fries cost $14.95 per person Cod was cheaper Halliburt was more
