A Cup A Coffee - Sarnia

The cup of coffee has very good meals and they are huge orders. We enjoyed everything we got and will order our weekend breakfast there right away!

Two weeks ago we called our order in 1/2 hours before we thought we had arrived there and had to wait another 20 minutes. The iced tea was a can with a straw, no glass or ice to accompany it. Two hours... we went there and ordered salmon and a water from their menu, after 15 minutes I had to enter the building from the terrace to ask where our water was, "beat, I forgot" was the answer. So the water arrived 20 minutes after setting. At the 35-minute point we asked the owner and we said that the salmon was not “ready” although it was on the menu. Excuse me 42 minutes before dinner. This is a lunch business, but who has this time for lunch? The Temple

We had the fishing n chips really fries big fries soup of the day beef barley was great then desert included rice pudding we enjoyed it so much we went back and had the 3 peice chicken dinner again the same great taste with soup tomatoes...macaroni mmmmm and desert rice pudding or jello great service friendly really enjoyed it both times

Despite the plastic barriers separating the tables due to Covid, our recent visit to this restaurant was much better than our previous experience a few years ago. It seems that there have been some changes since our last visit. Our young server was friendly, although a bit nervous. Since our favorite fish and chip place was closed because of Covid, we decided to try A Cup of Coffee and were pleasantly surprised. The portions were very generous, including salad or soup, fish, plenty of chips, Cole Slaw, and a small rice pudding for dessert. The batter on the fish was light and crispy, the chips were tasty, and everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The meal at this restaurant was fantastic. The cod was perfectly cooked with a light batter, the French fries were authentic, and the macaroni tomato soup was delicious. However, what truly made the experience special was the waitress, Hollie. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The owners are lucky to have her on their team.
