Le Grand Bleu - Sari-Solenzara

On entry we sat down at nearest free table not realising they had a queue for tables. We were shouted at and told to get up and wait. After this they refused to sit us down despite there being free tables, once some time had passed we decided to sit down anyway as they were not acknowledging us at all. They then continued to not acknowledge us or take our order, after about 15 minutes we decided to leave. Rude staff, it shouldn’t be difficult for them to be polite.

Friendly helpful generous staff who served excellent food and drinks in a beautiful setting overlooking the beach and the sea. We will be back.

What a underwhelming experience! Located on a gorgeous beach, the menu is 3 appetizers (goat cheese salad, Caesar salad and an Italian antipasto , 2 fish dishes, 1 steak and 5 pizzas. That 's it. The restaurant was completely empty at 8pm and empty when we left. We now know why. We ordered the steak and fish. The steak was inedible: tough, gristly and unseasoned. The St Pierre special was wrapped in fried pastry dough and had about four tiny, 1-inch pieces of fish inside. We sent the steaks back and the owner came by and with an air of arrogance demanded we tell her what was wrong with the steaks. She then huffed and spit out: 'desolee ', and went to gossip about our group with the locals who were sitting by the bar smoking (but not eating anything... After that we asked for the check and were told they did not accept credit cards (which I 'm pretty sure was a lie, so that we wouldn 't dispute the credit card charge . So, a most disagreeable evening. Avoid unless you want to pay good money for really bad food.

I found this restaurant through trip advisor and it was with some trepidation that I went there with 7 critical women!! However we were treated to a really superb evening. The Setting is magnificent with glorious views across the bay. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. The pizzas were thin crust and delicious. The steak tartare was fresh and tasty. Puddings were exceptional. We will certainly be going back if we have the chance.

Super site Soleil plage et une mer magnifique le plus beau spot sur 40 km Très bel endroit Belle paillote et des patrons super gentils Équipe attentionnée et rapide La carte est sobre mais de qualité !!!! Terrasse avec une vue superbe regardez vers l Olivier c est trop beau Pizzas trop bonnes Un grand merci pour ces moments plein de bonheur et de qualités À faire absolument !!!!!
