Smacks Burgers Shakes - Sarasota

During our holiday, my daughter and I decided to check out Burger Connection, which came highly recommended. Due to the current circumstances and the ongoing health concerns, we opted for delivery, so I couldn't see the restaurant in person. They have an extensive menu of burgers to choose from. We ordered the BEC Burger, a Kids Cheeseburger, Garlic Fries, and a regular order of fries. The burgers were quite good for fast food, so I give them 4 stars. However, I'm not sure if the fries were just overcooked due to the delivery time, but I would only rate them 2 stars. Overall, I definitely plan to visit this place in person on my next trip to Siesta!

It was our first visit, and we had a great time. Although I don't usually drink milkshakes, I decided to give it a try. It was excellent! I had the Caramel Shake and the American Bacon Burger with crispy fries. Yum!

Smacks offers an impressive menu with unique dishes that stand out from the typical offerings. Every Tuesday at 7 p.m., they welcome the Sarasota Rocks group to gather and paint rocks for the kindness initiative. The watermelon drink is particularly delicious!

Old burgers and ingenious onion rings and pommes... good prices... great food... we will definitely be back.

2016: a little , but worth it. Great burger. Even better custard. Highly recommended. Update 8/2020: took food to go. Fries were a bit over cooked, like it was less than new oil too. Burger was amazing; I should have skipped the fries and had a second burger. Seasoned fries were ok, but not special enough to get them again IMHO. Custard is always worth coming back for. Did ask for EXTRA ketchup, but only got one cup per fry. Bummer.
