Hob Nob Drive In - Sarasota

Not as good anymore. Hot dogs seem smaller. Sweet tea is horrible used to be great. Prices too high for the type of joint it is. Won't be back.

The food was decent but not exceptional. I found the prices to be a bit on the higher side. Based on the reviews I read, I was hoping for a better experience.

The atmosphere was slightly chilly today, but since we were sitting outdoors, it was manageable. This is a great spot for lunch or a light dinner. The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, and salads—all of which were quite good. It’s definitely better than most burger places.

Classic burgers and fries that hit the spot! I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Like the old days. We stopped for lunch. I got all a Hob Nob (double cheeseburger), subbed for onion rings and a chocolate shake. It was all right. The burger was a little fat, the onion rings more so, the chocolates shake by delicious. No 50 music, only traffic noise, but still a nice experience. Service was friendly. Today was an absolutely beautiful day, very sunny and a little breezy. Breezy means you have to pay attention to things like napkins that can blow around. The Hob Nob is a Sarasota symbol on the corner of Washington Blvd (US301) and 17. St. It had a fairly new renovation, but not lose its charm. All seats are outdoors, but they have a plastic protection in weather. You can also drive up to a few spots in the front and get car service. An old style entrance, no conversation through speaker or food through window. I didn't see anyone smoking, but there were ashtrays on the tables, if that's important to you to know.
