Caragiulo's Italian American Food

We very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Caragiulo's. I ordered the ‘eggplant parmesan al forno’, which is layers of eggplant, tomato, ricotta mozzarella (sort of in a lasagnes style). It was delicious! My dad had the chicken parmigiana and throughly enjoyed it. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and comfortable. The ladies working at the host stand were lovely and got us a table right away without a reservation. Our waitress was the only damper to the experience as she seemed disinterested and never checked on us once throughout the meal. I didn’t get an opportunity to order another glass of wine because she didn’t come back. The other servers and bartender, that I observed, looked more attentive.

Dinner was amazing. Our server who’s worked there for many years really catered to our 3 year old. It was a great experience!

Always a pleasure to dine with you at the holidays. Love the Christmas ambience and cozy interior. Rashid/Marco is an excellent, personable, knowledgable waiter. Always a pleasure to see him.

Lots of confusion about meals. None of our meals came out together. Wrong orders come out. Waiter tried hard to accommodate. Mess up was with kitchen. Drinks that were not ordered came out. Ordered Canolli to go. Only the ends had filling. Very disappointed.

Wow. The wine options are divine (I ordered the montepulciano), the wedding soup had decadent meatballs, and I ordered the special which was a porcini tortellini with sausage and fresh vegetables in a garlic sauce which was easily the best tortellini dish I’ve ever had. Our waiter Gulie was an absolute charm and night ended of Mama’s lemoncello and biscotti was a perfect mix of sweet and cozy, nutty delight. We cannot wait to return!
