Mad Salads - Sarasota County

Stopped in for a something quick and more healthy than a burger. Had a wrap and you can tell everything was very fresh and made to order. The couple working behind the counter were very outgoing and friendly. A lot of choices for such a small place. I was there about 15-20 minutes and saw a bunch of people come through the door in my time there. They seem very popular in the the area.

We had the wonderful pleasure of getting the best baked potatoes at Mad Salads in Venice. They were perfectly prepared and beyond expectations. We got the bacon cheddar with sour cream, butter and onions as well as the buffalo chicken with sour cream, butter and onions. They were large enough to be our meal! What a great addition to the Mad Dogs/ Mad Salads family.

First time in and everyone was so nice! Both employees explained the menu, mentioned the monthly special and told me about Mad Dogs! I was given a sample of their soup so I'd know if I wanted to try it next time I definitely will! I do wish they were open later so I can get a salad for dinner but I'll just have to plan ahead. Highly recommend!

My sister and I enjoyed lunch at Mad Salads yesterday. The place is cute and quaint and people are so nice. Their menu consists of a big variety of salads (with or without a protein) and fresh wraps. The Cobb salads were delicious and huge! Everything is made to order fresh and the service was excellent. My sister also ordered a banana/strawberry smoothie and it was yummy! I recommend this place inexpensive for a great meal, and a terrific opportunity to support a local family business. You can also call in your order and they have it ready for you to pick up.

First visit here after a movie (next door). Super cute and clean local restaurant offering fresh, made-to-order salads sandwiches. The staff member was welcoming and informative. I ate the classic Caesar wrap and added tuna. Delish! For dessert I shared a 'just made this morning ' homemade canolli. Yum! Best ever!I look forward to many return visits and want to thank Mad Salads for their exceptional freshness, tastiness and customer service. Venice is lucky to have you!
