They take too long to take notes and bring the food. We were in a hurry and that meant that when the dishes were brought (an hour and a quarter after ordering) we had to eat very quickly. This restaurant is immersed in a very dangerous dynamic, it tries to serve the restaurant, the pool table area and all the sun loungers, and all this while they are very few workers. As a result we have endless waiting times; half an hour to be able to order and an approximate hour and a half for them to bring you the order. IT IS AWFUL. And it 's useless for the owner to apologize a thousand times, if you don 't have the capacity to provide good service, don 't accept so many customers simultaneously. It was useless for us to go with a reserved table, they did not have it prepared or contemplated. The food is not bad, but it is very expensive for what is served, compared to the average for Madeira. What I liked the most was the chicken, well cooked and tasty. They did not like the fish of the day turbot bland in flavor with a caked limpet rice. For its part, the battered sword was tasty although excessively greasy. In short, a real shame that a restaurant that could serve good food throws everything away by trying to feed everyone who passes by, leaving the love of food by the wayside.
