We got to the place around 1:30 the place was packed, but still we managed to get a table after a few minutes wait. By that hour the house specials and all the fish diners were gone. Shows how popular the place is with the locals.

We ate here whilst exploring the Douro valley. Lovely local place with excellent service, good food and very cheap prices. I particularly enjoyed the half liter carafe of white wine for 1.75 Euros! Absolutely bargain, would recommend.

Simply put great wine, great food and amazing service. Our Portuguese is terrible, but they were patient and went out of their way to find the right wine for our food and make sure we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Would definitely recommend!
