Shoarma Grillroom Ramsis

Just staying few feet away from this place, kids were tired so we decided to try it out. My steak was good with good smoked flavor, came with fries and salad, my wife had some alfredo pasta, kids had soup and pizza , which were all good. Overall a great place and quick service and tasty food. However, the only downfall is it is a very tight crowded space and tables.I had to move a few times to the side while eating to allow people to get by my seat including the manager, somewhat annoying.

Staying in Haarlem we went looking for a local restaurant after a long day touring in Amsterdam. We found quite a few places on Hoofdstraat and picked Shoarma Grillrooom Ramsis. What a delightful surprise. It is a small, cozy restaurant, simply decorated but with a friendly feeling. Our waitress patiently understood our English and answered our many questions about the Dutch food. The vegetable lasagna was different than the usual US/Italian version but very enjoyable. The French Onion Soup was delicious with a generous helping of cheese and a bread crouton. The ribs and brochette was delicious with excellent BBQ sauce and a very generous portion. The Falafel small plate was plenty after some cheese and crackers at home. It was very delicious and served with a salad, small pita and some onion and sauce on the side. The whole experience was very pleasant and the food was not too expensive and delicious. They had a large selection of pizzas but we didn't have any.

Onlangs hier besteld om af te halen. Het eten was netjes op tijd klaar. Het was goed warm, zelfs bij aankomst thuis, omdat het goed verpakt wordt meegegeven. De bediening is vriendelijk en je kunt meekijken tijdens het bereiden van je maaltijd. Het eten is goed op smaak, precies wat je kunt verwachten van een grillroom. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is zeer goed. De porties zijn ook ruim voldoende. De friet is goed, de salade prima en het vlees uitstekend. Zeker een aanrader!
