Posizione favolosa, quando si vede un posto così bello si ha sempre paura che il cibo non è buono perché è molto concentrato sull'ambiente e poco sulla qualità. Invece abbiamo mangiato molto bene, abbiamo anche complimentato il cuoco per il modo in cui studia meticolosamente e propone le antiche ricette abruzzesi. prezzo per la bellezza della posizione e qualità del cibo assolutamente non alto

Like already written in the many comments, the place is full of charm and ideal for a romantic dinner. Friendly service. The food was average, nothing that you would say you want to come back to try another dish, and too expensive for what we were served. We took an excellent wine at Eur 30 (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo)

Amazing location and atmosphere both indoor and outdoor. We were located outdoor, indoor fully booked. Needed to ask to bing some light as we were left in the dark for long time before first they attempt to make light with some candles and finally they opted for an electrical light. We asked for local good wine (Montepulciano) to the waithet and he advised the most expensive one (75 EUR) without proposing different on different prices. We asked wine list and at the end we opted for 30 EUR bottle that was extremely good. First dish Pasta with Porcini and truffle was amazing. The kids took ravioli that were terrible. My wife took a vegetarian main course and she left half complaining it was raw. We reported the problem with ravioli and we got two additional pasta FOC for the kids as they eat nothing. Startes were not exceptional but acceptamble. We did not take second dish. My wife took one sweet zabbaione with chocolate and it was quite a disappointement as it was total white and poor of flavour. Bill: ravioli were not charged but the bill was far over what we got in terms of quality. We could accept to pay overcharged because of the location and the fact it was the only restaurant in Santo Stefano that could find a place for us to be accommodated.

The view, decor, atmosphere is very very harmonic and lovely. Thats the 2 stars. The sad part: The food was so disappointing and tasteless. There are somewhat 16 different dishes you can choose the menu. We had 4 of them and 1 starter was ok, the rest was just tasteless and bad prepared. We even found a long grey hair in the served bread. In conclusion, we felt like the restaurant pretended to serve lovely food, but they weren't. The waiters were in general nice, but really slow and unexperienced (we had to ask for the check 3 times!!! .
