Upmarket but not overly expensive. Extensive beautiful gardens well cared for.. Visited at a quiet weekday time. Expect much busier at weekends. A place for parents to enjoy the location and walk their little ones.

Ok, this place might be out of your way, but make sure you don’t miss it if you are in Portugal. A bit over one hour drive from Lisbon, in the Alentejo coast where you have the best beaches of the country, you will find this treasure. The place itself is so cool that you feel extremely comfortable from the minute you get in. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the food is just brilliant. We went with our 2 toddlers and we had plenty of healthy options for them. But more than healthy, the food is so delicious. We had the brunch, and I can’t name my favorite thing about it. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the avocado toast was the best I ever had, the pancakes delicious. My husband had a burger and it was all he could talk about. The fruit juices are so creative, we tried 3 different ones and it seems every combination is so perfect. Honestly, I can’t get over our delicious meal. Thank you Ginger Cafe, we will be back.
