We had a great time here. the owner was very friendly and the food was delicious. we had to start the fried zucchini and funghi all’aglio and linguine vongole and spaghetti scoglio for net parts that were fresh and tasty. had to finish the meal with tiramisu. I couldn't get enough to take a pizza home. visit them again only for the hospitality and service and the great eating is a bonus.

I was with my man for the first time today. smiling owners welcome guests. it is rare. short and clear menu. a choice for people who like meat and vegetarian dishes. the place is cozy, beautiful music, houselike atmosphere. food is delicious! good fresh ingredients. short waiting time. I'm glad I found the taste of italia. I'm coming back. Thank you!

Highly recommended, fantastic local restaurant. the portions are generous, tasty and with great praise, I cannot complain. the restaurant is quite small, so if they come to such a busy time, they may have to wait. we came during the “Beast from the East” time so it was not so busy, but can easily see that it was packed out. we had pizza, pasta, lasagne and a whole grilled sea bass. the outstanding dishes were the fish, pasta and lasagne. we were so surprised at the size of the fish and how fresh it was! with the average price each plate around £10 it is a great value. we had 4 people and were completely filled at the end. comes back in definitiw.

Fiddies is the only shop in the swiss cottage neighbourhood that I want to go every time I want to eat outside. from the cheerful warm welcome and cozy atmosphere to the delicious cheese-laden dressing is all the top notch. my favorite (as they may have guessed of my pictures) is the baby huh with tomato. his soft, his juicy and the aromas are clearly delicious! the steak

Great place for a hearty reasonably priced Italian meal. Can recommend both the pastas and the pizzas, all very tasty. The lunch time deals are really good value for money. This is a well known fact though however so it can get rather busy during lunch hours. Somehow we always still find a seat amongst the buzz however. The owner provides a friendly service as well.
