Bidrage med feedbackI just had lunch in Don Rigo and was totally impressed by the taste of the food I was served. It was a set menu (soup and main course) plus a large glass of a drink (Chicha morada) and all at the incredibly low cost of 10 soles (2.85 USD) per person. Yeah, that was the price! The small family-run restaurant has been in business for 30 years. Looks like locals would just walk away from their homes and eat lunch there. The menu changes every day. They are specialized in a roasted chicken, the finger looks good. You can always order this roasted chicken. People phone and just get the 2-course menu or the roasted chicken they have ordered. There was a selection of 3 main courses for the 2 course menu. We chose the chicken tomato stew with rice and Lima beans. It was disgusting. The soup we were served came in a big bowl and it tasted so good my husband said this was probably the best soup he had eaten in his life. I'll be back.
