The view is beautiful. It's in front of a fake lake that's beautiful. The food was average. They had no special vegan dish, so I had some pages that were okay.
We went out of the way to find this place because we, where said it was good that I personally liked my food, but I was the only one. The guest had octopus, which was too salty to eat, directly disgusting I say another had scallops she saw beautiful, but where so bland no seasonal at all and I don't think she even embellished in butter, but a tasteless oil was a shame! I had the tuna tacos, the tuna was perfectly cooked unfortunately again no season on all very bland tuna steak ditto! You've dipped a free tuna that tastes like tuna. Overall not very impressed. Very slow service was quite empty as we were there early for dinner at 4:30. English menu and regular do not fit in item or price. The view was nice, but not enough to to tolerate the food. I enjoyed my dessert of crepe and ice cream.
I had heard this place, Plaza Náutica, was a prime place of gourmet restaurants. I probably had too much expectations. My friends, man and I strolled around the plaza and were attacked by friendly hostess to convince us to get a table with them. We chose Porto Buzios because it was the busiest. The facilities were comfortable, spacious, with a mixture of styles. Reading the whole menu could take you 15 minutes, so you can just explain the waiter what you want, and he will offer the next game. We told the waiter that even though we were all Mexicans, none of us ate hot peppers. He said the food was mild and offered 5 or 6 different sauces for the chips. He warned what was hot and not, but we found them all very hot. They also offered free tuna dip as a starter that my friend liked so much that he ended it and asked for another. We had fish, octopus and shrimp for lunch, but I couldn't finish my shrimp because they were too sharp.
I never thought it made the top 5 restaurants in Queretaro, but last time I went there (trust me: last time ever in my life! the experience was terrible. Slow service (understaffed, perhaps? , the waiters' attitude made me feel that I was asking them to do me a big favour. The food was bland; rather plastic. The ladies restroom was very filthy (wouldn't dare have a look at the kitchen ! As usual, the location by the lake is on the plus side, but doesn't make up for all the negative points. Extremely expensive (most particularly if you consider all the above mentioned .
