La Scogliera - SANT'ALESSIO SICULO

From the outside, nothing special to look at, but this small family run restaurant is the real deal. From the beginning to the end, you are made to feel truly welcome and valued. Nothing too much trouble where you want to sit, what you want to eat... The balcony overlooking the sea has a view worth the trip alone. As for the food, tasty antipasti, fresh fish perfectly cooked, simple and delicious. The prices are so cheap you want to offer double. Please give these lovely people your business, you will not regret it !!!

This restaurant is run by the whole family and in a great location above the cliffs. It is worth booking in the morning as you can then order specific fresh fish, and try to get on the balcony. We didn't but still had an excellent meal. The waiter was really friendly helpful and nothing was too much trouble, he was genuinely pleased to have us there. All the food was great, the pasta fish are the main stars, the calamari was fantastic. This gets 5 stars from me as everything was very good but the value for money was astonishing. The only negative would be a small choice of wine albeit very good local.

We came across the restaurant by chance and what a find! Wonderful freshly homemade food, magnificent views and excellent service. We were so impressed that we went back three times. Our favourite was the bruschetta followed by spaghetti alle vongole and for dessert a homemade crema di limone. Local wine and limoncello after coffee, all for a very reasonable price.

It is not a 5* or 4* place. The ristorante is located in a family owned pansion. Delicious freshly home made food at a very reasonable price. We tasted few types drinks and fish at this place and we very satisfied.
