He is warm, friendly, generous, extremely knowledgeable about local wines and grappas, and really fun to talk to. The bar is a wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy the Varenna atmosphere. Hermes will help you find the perfect wine to enjoy, there is a huge selection. We also bought a beautiful and unique bottle as a gift to take home, and for a great price.
