Bidrage med feedbackWe visited Santa Rosalita in Baja Sur on a cruise from the sea of Cortez. We went around this small town when we passed a corner restaurant with indoor and outdoor kitchen and many guests. So we stopped and had lunch there. The staff was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the elections were diverse and extensive. The price was quite modest. Because the restaurant was so attractive, and the food so good, it should not be called cheap eating, but it was the lowest bill we had in a city on our 11-day cruise.
One of the few options for breakfast in the city. The place has a complete menu with different eggs and tortilla options. Coffee wasn't good, but the rest was okay.
The beer was good and the sea was also fresh and delicious. You can also sample various Mexican local beers.
Not much choice in Santa Rosalia if you have your dog with you. You can't leave them in the car, way to hot....so this ok place on the Zocalo, allows our dog on the patio. We always eat here, because of this. It can be...sporadic, different waiters coming to the table, orders getting a little mixed up.very busy place with locals, not many tourists if any. Food gets a mediocre....but better than nothing. Will go back here on our way south again....until we find another place that will allow the dog. Like Santa Rosalia, very Mexican feel to the town.
I live here and El Muelle is probably the best restaurant in town. I have never had a really bad meal here but I have never had a great one either. Good food but not great food, but at a fair price.
