Aida never fails to produce wonderful dishes. European cuisine with an emphasis on fish. Wonderfully presented. As close to a five star as you can expect.

Visite el restaurante para cenar, Aída es una anfitriona extraordinaria. Comimos salmón rosado con papas italianas acompañados de un muy buen Malbec. Uno de los mejores restaurantes para comer pescado, se cocina a estilo europeo lo que significa un pescado cocido a la perfección y sobre todo no seco. Vale la pena visitar este restaurante aunque no se encuentren en Santa Rosa. Visited for dinner, Aida is a wonderful host. We eat pink salmon with Italian potatoes. The fish was cooked European style, this means it is moist and tender. Los Personajes is one of the best fish restaurants for miles around, so it pays to visit even if you're not staying in Santa Rosa. This is probably my third or fourth visit and again I was not disappointed.Aida has lived in Spain and this means she understand how fish ought to be cooked and presented. We accompanied the salmon with a wonderful Malbec wine. Don't get hung up on eating fish with just white wine. I'm already looking forward to a next visit.

This wonderful gourmet restaurant is located right on the riverbanks with a great view and romantic atmosphere. The food is individually prepared and fresh fish is the daily speciality. But they also have many other entrees to choose from. The service is friendly and comfortably paced to enjoy a leisurely meal. Prices are a little above average but well worth the extra for excellent gourmet dining. This maybe one of the best meals you will enjoy in Santa Rosa de Calamuchita.

Restaurant stands ion the bank of he river Santa Rosa that runs through the town. The menu is varied but mainly fish, cooked to perfection and most importantly very fresh. Wine list is impressive. If the weather is good I would sit outside just above the river. You can watch all sorts of birds flying past. The rive has crystal clear waters so it's a pleasure to sit outside. On winter nights the palace has a wood fired fireplace very cosy indeed. If you're staying in nearby towns it is worth making a trip just to try Los Personajes.
