Get rid of the SECURITY TEAM AND self checkout. As you all can see, Vallarta has an outo-populated message for customers reviews. The security team look/act as if they were S.W.A.T. or some highly trained militia. These giys are jokes and for them to stand behind customers using the self checkout is a negative experience. Not everyone is a thief. This place has a new camera system recently installed. The majority of the theft problem would be solved if you do away with thre self checkout. The security guards need better training and they don 't belong in a supermarket acting the way they do. A shopper shouldn 't feel like he/she is stealing merchandise. The security team stare with a mean look on their face but won 't even say welcome or thank you. With all the new updates and hundreds of cameras, why is the security so tight at this place? Get rid of sef check out and whatever theft you have that happens at the register is eliminated. The rest of the staff is not helpful either. Most of the time at self checkout (all the registeres a re closed or only 1 is opened), I have to wait for the team member to get off their cell phone or stof chatting with another coworker. If I wae or get their attention by being loud, then I become the priblem and security is right there waiting for someone to slip so they can take action and feel like men. You should be trying to Make customers feel welcome and not like they 're doing the employees orbstaff any favors. I started going to Northgate which is the same distance only in opposite direction. No self checkout and no rude security team staring-down the customers. . Their staff actually ask if they could help find anything. I know Vallarta will not acknowledge this review, and if they do, it will be the generic thank you for you review message Don 't go here expecting to be treated like a valued customer.

The store has gone through a whole remodel. I love the cleanliness. The selection is expanding every time I go. Beware, the cashiers stop ringing up at night and you have to ring yourself up at self-checkout no matter how many items you have. I had many tonight! She was busy chatting away while I waited for her to help me with the transaction.

I love this supermarket but I don’t have any on my area where I live. I wonder if they are going to open in Ontario CA.
